@Rioters behind the Poppy comic

How does the hammer decide who is worthy? that one guy was actively trying to stand up to the monster and protect the meek whilst all the other hero's ran and yet the hammer viewed him as not worthy? He seemed strong enough (he could pick up the hammer and swing it without much effort) and yet he got BTFO'd by the monster.

Funny thing is Poppy strikes me as stubborn and brave not Heroic. Imo She sounds so glum and treats the Hammer as though its a burden not a gift or tool of justice.

Poppy Hammer speculation thread I guess...

Bonus Question: How many good hero's has poppy sat by and watch get killed?

The hammer soulbound to her on pickup, but she doesn't have a handy tooltip to read.

I wondered why Poppy was only looking for a guy.

I wondered why being heroic was a measure of skill and not bravery or willingness to sacrifice yourself to save others. (Sorry, soldiers who throw themselves on grenades to save their comrades, but the noble hero hammer says you're garbage, and the hammer never lies!)

I wondered why Poppy needed to be cartoonishly, bad-90s-anime, oblivious as opposed to just regular old oblivious.

Even better: how many people is Poppy indirectly responsible for killing by convincing them they were the hero?
