Lee Sin

What do people reckon Lee Sin's lore is going to be now? With the removal of summoners and the IoW where does that leave Lee? The reason he set himself aflame was most likely because he felt the need to atone for his sins. I also feel like a lot of Lee's character comes from the fact that he feels the need to repent. Any Thoughts?
