I was under the rather obvious impression that we wont get that LU for another few weeks from now, especially not while the Akali relaunch and LUs are still ongoing. Your certainty is misplaced, as I doubt Riot would release two rather unrelated content updates over top each other.
I hope they can release it this Thursday
