Is it just me or does some legendary skins need an update. They just don't feel like legendary skins because the visual effects and the skin itself is outdated. I think Riot should consider updating some of the legendary skins instead of just making new ones. As a Vladimir main I would love his legendary skin to be updated. Some of these skins just nerds some love u know.
They're not going to get an update unless the champion itself get's a Visual upgrade. It's sad, but in fairness, most of those old "Legendary" skins do not prevent the champions from getting new ones in the future, as seen by Tristana with her Dragon Trainer skin. Those lower quality legendary skins are typically vaulted anywoo, and when they do come out, do so on sale most the time.
The real travesty is that those said "Legendary" skins, are worth the same cost/disenchant values for their shard forms.
I'd love for Blackfrost Anivia to be better quality than her upcoming epic skin.
Skins aren't updated individually. They'll have to be updated with a VGU. Given that most of the outdated legendaries are also on outdated champions, it's simply a matter of time before they become updated.
Still salty that they didn't give a unique VO to Alien Invader Donger when they had the actor in for Dragon Trainer.
They won't give any of the skins an update until that champion has their own VGU.
Reav3 confirmed a while ago that both Ice Toboggan and Red Baron 
will get properly reworked into legendaries when they get to his full VGU.
All of these Legendary skins are really outdated compared to any newer legendary skins made after these. Some here are only worth 1350 RP and 975 RP (the oldest and worst are like 740 RP quality) if we compare what they actually give. Whats worse champions like Annie, Heimerdinger, Twisted Fate, and Tristana had a chance to update these skins to at least lower tier modern Legendary skins when they got their Champion Updates (like have unique voice over), but they havent.

It's gonna be interesting to see if 
's update comes with an updated version of her legendary skin Aether Wing Kayle
omega squad teemo VOs/effects could be updated to interact with more champs through taunt.
The biggest ones that need updates are the extremely old legendary skins that were released at the time where legendary skins were the equivalent of epic skins now, similar to how ultimate skins at the time (Pulsefire Ezreal and Spirit Guard Udyr) are now more like today's legendary skins.
The Magnificent Twisted Fate and Annie In Wonderland are most notable because they don't even have new voice lines, whereas every other old legendary skin (Brolaf, Corporate Mundo, Demonblade Tryndamere etc.) all at least have that (correct me if I'm missing any old legendaries without new voicelines, but I think those are the only two). At the time, it was a big deal for a skin to have new effects and a model overhaul, but now, that's a typical epic skin. Either those two should get an RP drop to at most 1350 or a total overhaul to be true legendary skins.
Legendary skins that at least have new voicelines, like the three I mentioned above, would probably be more in line to get Gatekeeper Galio/Nunu Bot-esque overhauls.
I feel like Quinn needs a legendary skin.
