Ornn's story

So I've just read Ornn's story and I really liked how his story is tied with other stories of the Freljord. The three sisters who come to Ornn to ask a favor were Lissandra, Serylda and Avarosa. They asked him to dig the Howling Abyss, and later asked him build the bridge (The Murder Bridge lol) over it.

Also the story of the ram-headed door was pretty cool. When the troll tricks Ornn into a drinking contest, I noticed that it was inspired by the Thor's story where Thor was cheated in drinking contest. Also the ram-headed door is Braum's shield, I know it was obvious but I did like how they explained how that door was created. Ornn said that the door cannot be open but Braum managed to open the door; I know Braum opened it from the inside but I think it shows how strong Braum is. Anyway, I think that there should be special interaction between Braum and Ornn, where Ornn mentions the the door.

And the part where Ornn throws away his spade and fork. It said in the story that the spade (shovel) was lost to darkness, which I believe it ended up in the Shadow Isles and now it is the hands of Yorick. The fork was thrown into the sea and I believe that it is the trident that Fizz uses, but I might be wrong.

Okay this has been said already a thousand times. Remember Ornn's story is all mythology. You can enjoy the style of the story writing but don't take it as the gospel truth. As most of what you read is embellished or completely made up. Of all the stories about Ornn, I would concluded that the stuff about his spade and fork are the most likely to be complete BS.

Do not get me started on how implausible it is that Yorick has Ornn's spade. However I do really love Fauxschizzle (Ornn's writer) for implying that it might be, it really shows how easy it was for people to believe stories could be factual. And it seems like we must still have that issue.
