Because Ezreal would treat it like they were a nuclear family and Zoe would constantly try to off Lux while Lux just wonders wtf is happening.
The 3 Nature Forces, being like a super hero squad protecting nature and all.
I Imagine Maokai and Zyra being mentors to Taliyah, and always in conflict and teasing each others like "It's this way you old root", "No, this way you trunk" and Taliyah just jumping to them like a child and sending them 3 to the skies.. Always making trouble and putting them in risky situations they manage to get by.
They would be so serious and professional and Taliyah would be just there joking about all and touching everything in admiration like "Oh gosh this Moutain is soooo high, let's climb it !!!" or "Woahh that's BEAUTIFUL, can I have it PLEASE PLEASE ??"
Zyra would be like the big sister, so sassy and would throw shade at everyone, also being very possessive, harsh and spitefull, but always protective, genuine and a little bit of a bigmouth
Maokai should be the old wise dude, always quoting philosophical thoughts and saying things out of context sometimes, and being calm and passive, but can't lose a chance to respond to Zyra's "comments", if things are getting serious, he would do everything in his power to save his friends and would change radically, to calm and plain quiet, to a total fury.
I can imagine also the cute little moments between Baby sapling and Zyra's plant mascots, referencing Tweety and Sylvester.
They would be rivals to 
they are an alternate team of the Super Nature Heroes, and I can also imagine them being the nemesis of the criminal polluters called the Dirty Three ! 
they would acting like the Team Rocket in Pokemon, the 2 teams would sometimes make a truce to neutralize the Dirty Three.
This is a weird one and lore-wise unlikely, but hear me out.
I really want to split Rakan up from Xayah, just for a while. Xayah is passionate, but she's also hypocritical and unwilling to listen to the human side of the story. Rakan, on the other hand, is more open, and having him meet really nice young humans might make him change his mind about some of them. Both Lux and Taliyah are brilliant young ladies that are generally kind and positive, which is not how Xayah views humans at all. Rakan could return to Xayah with some ideas of his own about how they should rebel moving forward.
Lux and Taliyah are both struggling to find their place in their respective cultures as people of great magical power. I think they would get along well, and could learn from each other given their different situations. It would also be interesting for them to meet someone like Rakan, a being who is inherently magical; he can't live without magic. This would be particularly baffling for Lux, someone who was raised in an anti-magic culture to see someone from a culture that is by nature magical.
Honorable mention: 
Her blatant use of magic and pushing herself to her limit would be a big contrast to Lux's forced restraint and Taliyah's carefully controlled and mentored power.
