Why isn't Aatrox pursuing Jax as a vessel?

His interactions suggest he is "worthy". However I understand interactions aren't always 100% reflections of lore.

I do believe however Jax seems to be an ideal body for a Darkin, so why isn't he being pursued? Aatrox was presumably at Icathia, he could know about Jax over the ages.

Or maybe he has no idea he's alive.

Jax, like Aatrox is about 4k years old, a master of weapons in various shapes and sizes. and has remained most of his anominity across the ages, so IF Aatrox is aware of him, he either has tried to posses him at one point (and then failed) is still trying to posses him, or doesn't even bother. As strong as darkin are, they CAN be overpowered by their human host unless they are fully consumed.

besides that Aatrox is too busy butchering Targonians and ascended aspects too be busy chasing some unknown warrior.

That's all

My guess is that jax is simply too much of a mystery. Either that or he is actually too powerful for aatrox.

Im fairly sure that all we know about jax is that he is some mysterious figure who is incredibly skilled and has weird hands.

My guess is that they haven't met yet. I don't think Aatrox would pass up an opportunity to get an excellent host like Jax. The other possibility is that they've met, but Jax either managed to flee or incapacitate Aatrox. Aatrox is technically stronger, but I believe Jax could potentially disarm him.

"What if I had a real weapon"

Aatrox knows not to arm Jax with a Celestial Blade capable of sundering gods

I do believe that they are aware of each other existence, Aatrox would know about the guy who killed one of his kind (Regardless if Jax had help), specially considering that they were enemies during the war of Icathia. However im not sure if they know that the other is still alive.

Anyways, I dont think that Jax is being pursued because he is clearly not human... and so far we have only seen Darkins with Human hosts. After all, Darkins take host in order to reach a similar form to their original Ascended forms and their original forms are based on their human forms (assuming that there are no vastaya, yordle, troll, etc ascendeds)... so, the extra eyes and lack of some fingers could be a problem for Aatrox, regarless if he considers Jax "worthy" or not.

Aatrox would more likely try to kill Jax if he saw him than try to make a host out of him, for a number of reasons. 1.) Jax helped take down an ascended god-warrior before, so Aatrox could kill him for revenge 2.) Jax supported the Icathian rebellion which lead the Void war, which royally screwed up the Ascended leading them to PTSD, madness and becoming Darkin in the 1st place 3.) Jax himself is corrupted by the void and would remind Aatrox of the void war, which is something he doesn;t like, also being void corrupted probably makes for a disgusting host, especially for someone who laments over how normal human bodies only make for a mockery of his true form.
