Since Riot for whatever reason doesn't want to make any new skins for kindred I thought i'd share some amazing work from other people.

Riot I hope will make a new kindred skin very soon. My personal favorite is blood moon, but for riot to use a fan made concept is rare, the only one I know that actually happened was blood moon Yasuo. But Blood Moon Kindred is a theme she fits extremely well and I hope she is taken into consideration for the next blood moon line up.

Kindred is one of those champions that almost all skin themes suit them. Personally, I'd love to see the Elderwood line expanded or at least a Blood Moon skin for them during the upcoming event.

  1. Zyra got a skin this year
  2. Kayn is fairly new
  3. Kindred got one about a year and a half ago, which is still a while, but not much compared to some other champions coughShencough

Its true Riot doesn't make skins for these champs often, but they're definitely not just abandoning them.

Just a quick reminder that, as cool as the art is, it's technically fan art and should be in Concepts and Creations.

It's on the front page so I don't really want to kill discussion but know for the future, thanks.

I would much rather 100% have them fix her base model to match her splash, which is probably one of the best splashes in the game.

5 fingers.... | Actual wooden bow | Re textured Wolf with no teeth and a crisper face | Fur texture on lamb | And at least fixing the stupid homeguard animations...

Making a splash that good makes it hard to replicate in game

I think RIOT is unhappy with her kit and they plan on giving her a smaller (maybe even bigger) rework in some future so they don't want to make any major skin for her that may have to be redone in the following 12 months. At least thats my opinion, since Kindred's design is absolutely gorgeous and I love their their visual and voiceover, but the gameplay is so bland, boring and stat-checky that she doesn't have the potential to be balanced atm imo.

Riot doesn't make skins for champions that require more work than normal ie: zyra, kayne, kindred, etc. they all have a lot of models / effects and thus even a 975 skin would require the work of a 1350 skin, or a 1350 skin a 1950, etc. etc. Which makes me wonder why they even release such champions when they have zero intentions of ever supporting them with skins.

I've seen the Elderwood Kindred skin so many times on the internet that's it's honestly a bit vexing that Riot has turned it into an actual skin. I so wish they would expand the Elderwood skin line and Kindred would be a perfect addition to it.

Maybe riot is holding off on kindred skins for a rework, i think its an issuer that this adc jungler designed to jungle is being outperformed my other adc junglers not designed to jungleGraves ,Ezreal, even Twitch

They ought just give up the jungle marksmen thing with her/they and just tune her/they for mid lane. She/they aren't going to be popular or really used until then or she/they are moved bot lane. Because she/they honestly suck as a jungler and really don't fit many team comps as a jungler. At least graves has a bunch of front loaded burst. Kindred doesn't and can be set behind very easily.

Only reason she/they aren't used is because a jungle marksmen is a liability unless they are oppressive early like graves and Ezreal. Both of them have very high damage early game so when they gank early they can contribute. Kindred doesn't really that much until she has stacks and at least 2 items.

Now how this relates is she/they isn't going to be played much so she/they won't get many skins because of it. If her/their game balance is improved and players are given a reliable reason to pick her/them and bring their pick rate up. Then riot will make skins for her/them.

Popularity and pick rate determine skin frequency. Its just that simple.

I think kindred should have got a Chinese New Year skin. The image on her helmet looks similar to the yin yang symbol of darks and light. Yin yang originated from China hence the reason I feel a Chinese New Year skin would have fit this theme:) riot its not to late! Maybe they could release the skin on the day it self?? Also it’s the year of the dog! Warwick or a skin and he is a wolf. You know who else is a wolf!? All I’m saying is this would be a COMPLETE missed opportunity! C’mon riot come take my money 😀😀
