The game is meant to look good, so should the characters.

The game isn't about lore. It's about gameplay, and aesthetics. I don't want an ugly 15 year prisoner lobbing around, I don't want to see a feral illiterate girl from the void zooming around like a stray cat.

The characters are good and beautiful. Let their aesthetics reflect that without constant whining.

One of the most worthless threads I've ever seen, and I hang out in Gameplay.

But what if we want to see more interesting a varied designs?

Lore is important no matter what game it is, and the fact that Riot fails to reflect it in their game is just poor design in my opinion.

Nah, the lore has always been 10000x as interesting as the game, and the design team should be less afraid to design more varied champs. Not every champ should be a paragon of good looks, because not every thematic lends itself to that.

Hell, I'm not even one of the people complaining about Sylas's looks, but this argument smells worse than Alistar's restroom.

Your entire post is just begging the question, using your conclusions as evidence to support themselves. If you can't stand to look at anything that's less than 100% conventionally attractive, stick to fashion magazines.

i like actually how blizzard sometimes reflects more ordinary people look, for example mei in ow is fat or "curvy", same about alexstrasza in hots you can see the sexy fat layers but it's very uncommon in other games. no wonder people want to have more natural look characters that they can identify with, not just plastic surgery superstars. but i must say that taliyah and illaoi faces in LoL looks pretty unique and nice.
