When I started playing this game, his ultimate would be on every top 10 list, but nowadays he's just a joke. Now, while I love how campy he is, he should really be next in line for a VGU to make this ol' veteran happy!

Who I overall hope to be mentioned may be Mordekaiser DrMundo Morgana Kayle

Mordekaiser because he's one of those champs I really like from many perspectives but just can't fully get into playing with how he is right now.

DrMundo was a champ I played a bit for some time until I just lost fun with him and realized that there were just better options to play, especially since his whole thing is healing and that gets countered pretty hard by GW on a number of items

Kayle & Morgana because I swear they're the last VGU's that we're getting this year along with Akali, Aatrox, and Nunu

He is on the list of their 16 or so champs they are looking at, so he's in the near future jus not like immediate XD I'd say 2019 would be the closest bet for the next batch.

As seen from the previous one, we got what appears to be a Nunu tease, so pretty sure he'll be revealed fully there. As for others, I dunno if they will show off more than just him or not but I'm pretty sure we'll be heading towards Kayle Morgana due them having WAD assets added a while back when Nunu and Akali's were found. So it'd make sense.

So pretty sure most of this year is already filled in and doesn't have much room left since most of these are released about 2 months after one another which would lead us all the way to October if you followed the time line.

Personally, I think we're getting a GU revealed because a lot of the champions we've got so far on the Roadmap this year have been VGU, so they might take a little break on the art side. Remember, that XinZhao and Azir were both put on the Roadmap as well and their changes weren't as drastic as others. I don't think we'll see many GUs (in general not just this year) as most champions who receive gameplay updates usually need a VU pretty badly too.

GU- MonkeyKing I put him on VGU but I could see Riot thinking his visuals were fine and simply updating his kit, they've also been pretty quiet on Wukong lately Karma Personal bias but also the fact that Meddler said they had plans for a mini-rework/changes for her planned for 2018

I would love to see Fiddle fully updated, because I'm a sucker for spooky scarecrows.

They could incorporate the moves hinted at in the gifs you used to really make him something special.

Maybe give him a Karma style ult (on a longer cooldown). Press R and E and instead of a bouncing crow, he sends out a flock that briefly silences, knocks back and damages enemies in a cone. R and Q and he flings his scythe in a line, with a flock bringing it back and fearing enemies they pass through. R and W and he flips the scythe forward, and he teleports after a short channel to where it lands, creating the classic ult he has now.

Turn him into a mid game disruptor who, in classic monster movie fashion, causes his victims to scatter when they should be relying on safety in numbers.

Anyway, yeah. I would love to see Fiddle brought up to modern standards.

Yes, 420% yes. Fiddle was like my OG main back when I very first started playing this game. I have fond memories of using my ult to clear minion waves and feeling like a badass, and Middlesticks, how I miss Middle sticks.

Considering how far they've in terms of visual design, I'd love to see them make him look more like that cinematic. Matter of fact, they could probably incorporate the moves we see him use as actual abilities.

Commanding a murder of crows to flock an enemy would be so much cooler than his current ultimate(no hate to his current one, love that thing to death). Yeah though, if they VGU'd Fiddle, I'd be one happy(and returning) player.

Nunu 's gonna get officially announced for sure, and if we're lucky, maybe we'll get a teaser for Kayle / Morgana . Now this is really unlikely, but I really wanna see Chogath get his after Kayle/Morg. Besides Nunu, he's the one I wanna see the most, especially after that fan concept design of his rework that went up during the art contest. I'd just love to see a fully realized version of feast. I'm just imagining him having a mouth like in that fan concept and completely devouring champions when he kills them like what Urgot does with his grinders. Them the concept of him changing shape as he gains stacks... oh it's so exciting. I'm also really excited for Nunu 's announcement. I'm so hoping they don't turn him into a yordle, though. He's long been my most wanted VGU ever since they fully committed to doing them at a regular pace. He's one of my absolute favourite concepts for a champion, that of a boy and his yeti. That's just so freakin cool. Can't wait for him, and hopefully Cho's gonna get some love after Kayle/Morg. ...also, I assume you're looking for them to do Mordekaiser . He'd be cool too, he's third on my list.

By the time they get to Nunu, it'll most likely be around Late July to Late August (Just my guess). When the time comes for the next rework, the Harrowing should be rolling through.

With that being said plus Yorick Yorick & Evelynn Evelynn being reworked sometime before/after the Harrowing, Fiddlesticks Shaco Shaco Nocturne & Mordekaiser would be perfect candidates for the next VGU.

Minor note, I'd like to see Shaco bring in some confetti when his rework comes in. Whether he incorporates it into one of his abilities or he explodes into confetti upon death (Death Animation), confetti makes everything better.

Morgana

The reason i recently stopped playing her is because i cannot bare her outdated design anymore. I cannot stand her tent/traffic cone skirt. I cannot stand her VO consisting of "I'll have my revenge" "They will suffer" and "Share my torment". I cannot stand her lack of a recall animation.

I love Morgana and her kit, although it could use a few tweeks. But her 2009 design is just unbearable in this day and age. It's important for a champion to not only have a well designed kit, but to also have a polished and modern apperance and personality. And, sadly, Morgana lacks this right now.

Pantheon He needs a kit that doesn't feel awful to play against in the early game, and more skill expression

Sona Stale and bland, and it'd be fun to see something more difficult on her kit other than trying to land her ult and spamming your buttons until you're all out of mana

Kayle Morgana Riot has confirmed that when either one gets reworked, so will the other which hopefully includes updated lore since their current lore makes no sense ever since the removal of the old lore. Kayle, needs whole lotta work and hopefully more leeway for different builds other than "Ult bot support" and "Holy smacking", and to make sure Rageblade doesn't become her biggest crutch.

As for Morgana her basic abilities scream some sort of poke mage, but then her passive and ult scream battle mage. Also, so she's a lot more fun to play against ~~because I love the concept of moving~~. Morgana mid still isn't very ideal, it's very uninteractive (Although, better now ever since the passive changes) and her only form of kill pressure is her opponents inability to dodge.

well i'm losing more and more motivation to play the game anyways. So yea just rework fiddle sticks, game should appeal for the newer mobility creep/dmg audience anyways. Not people that'd stayed for a while sticking to a cliche of champs they enjoy. So just go ahead, sacrifice one more for the sake of something new and shiny for it's 3 week popularity boost while people that clung to them for years get the middle finger.

I agree with the need for a Fiddle update, he's a champion who is either an absolute joke or a complete and utter monster (the latter of which I only ever encounter on ARAM where his crow is the single most impossible mechanic to attempt to mitigate). He's a relic of a bygone era, and he deserves to be brought up to a level where he can function up to the same expectations of other AP champions who goes into the jungle or GASP! ...mid.

I'd be happy to see any of the older champions get reworked, Riot's had a very good track record as of recent when it comes to VGUs.

But please, official Aatrox news. So far we know it got upgraded to a VGU, he's a Dark Souls boss, his entire kit is getting changed/looked at, and it should be out some time after mid season. Outside of that overview I don't know if there's just that much information.
