Does Aatrox look like an emo KISS fanboy now?

He's tiny, scrawny and looks like your typical skinny ass teen. Plus that make-up in the splash, oh my god it looks like off-brand kiss. Can someone please explain why he looks so crappy now? Not to mention his new feel, how he kind of orbits his sword. I get that's a lore thing, but it was just so poorly executed.
