The whole idea with PROJECT Warwick Warwick was that he was a human, a man inside a suit. And it happened to also be my favourite PROJECT Skin of all the other ones.

Following a similar idea, here's other potential candidates...

Nidalee NIDALEE that jumps into a self-built activatable Cougar Suit

Shyvana SHYVANA that ascends into a self-built activatable half-dragon Suit and the other half-dragon features are projected as a Hologram in the PROJECT style aesthetic

Elise ELISE that transforms into a self-built activatable Spider Suit with Hologram Spider Legs

I know that for most of the time the PROJECT Skin line remained restricted as a Human only Skin line, but this was changed when Warwick was chosen and seeing as this rule no longer applies the last thing we can do now is embrace the diversity. We could even call this Skin Line...

-Super Galaxy Nidalee -Super Galaxy Shyvana -Super Galaxy Elise

Super Galaxy is literally the futuristic mech skin line for non-human/transforming champions. I doubt they'll get PROJECT skins.

Warwick works in the Project skin line, because his canon lore is directly paralleling what happens to him in the Project universe. He used to be a normal human who got experimented on to turn him into a murder machine.

Now looking at the champions you mention here: Nidalee She was most likely born with her transformation powers, she has vastayan blood. She wasn't a normal human to begin with. Shyvana Same for her, she was born as a half-dragon, not transformed into one.

Elise She is the only one you mention who kinda has similarities here, she used to be a normal human being who accepted a contract with the spider god and that made her what she is today. I still think it won't become a thing, because there is one more aspect to it.

Warwick became a monster through immoral use of technology in his lore. Elise became a monster through magic.

We got told that the rule that Project is for humans only doesn't change with Warwick, they made it because his canon lore had so many parallels that it was an unique opportunity. I prefer if they won't keep doing these types of Projects in the future. They can work these champions in Program instead, Project already has this hybrid-human thematic anyway.

In order for this to work, they'd need to pick champions that are more human based tbh. Though they would be cool, Super Galaxy happened and I just don't see Riot doing those now. However, PROJECT: Wukong, Renekton, Azir, and Volibear could be viable for this...

What I mean by this, just like you get a glimpse of WW's human form, within these 3's animations, you'd see the human version of them too. Their head pieces could retract to reveal human like people.

However, I'd like to see ⥏PROJECT: OVERLOAD⥑ This would include Brand, Zyra, and Azir... Within this line, you witness PROJECT start to Overload technology with intellectual capabilities. Brand would be a technology based system that's developed sentience but is failing. Zyra and Azir are PROJECT members who've figured out how to successfully control the upgraded technology to use to their advantage, sort of like a Motherboard system controlling all the additional robots to do their evil.

Super Galaxys whole theme is that each champ has a mech they can pilot or at least some sort of robot buddy, so they are actually doing the exact same thing that you are proposing here.

Champs that would fit far more are the ones who still have a somewhat humanoid shape even if they have also animal features similar to warwick.
