Ezreal supposed to be the first boy, oh but then there's Rakan. lmfao I'm sure some people are happy since this re opens the possibility for Taric to be added as a mentor guardian.

it'sr really annoying because I wanted Xayah and Rakan to be guardians eventually, but why fuck the lore over?

Interesting to note that although Xayah should be Blue, she's green since Rakan apparently giving her his light. Which is to say SGs can trade colors by trading gems.

I literally don't care about Ezreal not being the first boy. Its not really all that important to the lore in the first place, is it? They appear to be implying that Rakan sacrificed his own gem to help Xayah, and that's a cool plot point that works really well with X&R. Why limit plot possibilities for such a silly reason as "Ezreal first boi"? It doesn't cheat Ezreal at all, he is still one of very few boys. It doesn't ruin Ezreal's skin or SG voice lines either.

This is coming from a big fan of Ezreal.

why is zoe not the legendary one ? she is the main villain? the main character in this batch........ and with this role she is way way way out of character with all the positivity her vo has....

Or maybe he was the first human boy... and Rakkan is the first Vastayah boy

... Anyways, its not like i have read the lore of skins like that one.

I mean, I would have liked the choice to play them both as Star Guardian or the corrupted. Is there not a toggle for it? Probably not. For that price point there should be. I have more of a problem with the fact that it's all new champions and not a single older one. It really shows Riot doesn't care.

Where did it say Ezreal was the first though, I can't seem to find that in the lore?

And then when you look at Ahri's former teammates it makes even less sense that they are who they are cause, yes Ahri is a vastaya and so are Neeko, Xayah and Rakan... but what about MF? she's part of the original team, the only one that survived other than Ahri. So why did they run with all Vastaya but MF?

(haven't kept up with SG lore so sorry if i'm mistaken in anyway shape of form, just guessing from head cannon)

i realize there are alot more champions deserving of a new skin however i think that the Xayah and Rakan kind of work given who is already a part of the 2nd gen of star guardians (Ahri and Soraka specifically), meaning that their planet has a Vastaya like race instead of humans. meaning that the three replacements were Ezrael, MF, and Syndra since Neeko would have needed to be replaced also, and is related to Vastaya as well.

i realize that means i'm lumping Soraka with the Vastaya whenever she's not, but the animal like qualities make her easily passable as one.

So there were five from Ahri's original team (all Vastaya or like), 3 were captured (maybe killed, why would neekos crystal break if she resisted the corruption? ) and when the surviving two moved to the next plant over they got their replacements for the missing three and planned to gather all the star guardian of the Galaxy to save their corrupted friends.

That still might leave us with another batch eventually as backup from "the mother star" (i feel like that was mentioned before but i might be mistaken) , and also leaves space for more dark stars (who took Zoe's sisters, and were they killed or corrupted?)

just something to think about i guess (leaves us room for 4+ more at least)

Im sorry NONE of these champions work with the theme aside from Zoe since she is a normal person. Rakan and Xayah are too edgy. SG is supposed to be whimsical magical girl themed.

I really feel like zoe should have been legendary for the added new voice lines. if she is suppose to be the genesis of these anti star guardians then her voice lines really needs to explain it. SG lore wise it seems kind of important?

I don't want to "open the possibility" for Taric. I want there TO BE A TARIC.

Also, why do people lose their shit about Ezreal? He may be the first boy, but that doesn't exclude there being second, third, fourth, etc. male Star Guardians. This doesn't shit on the lore at all in that regard. Also, Rakan, Xayah, and Zoe are definitely NOT Star Guardians anymore. They're corrupted, if you didn't notice from the dark purple haze and motif they have going for them. Neeko is the only true Star Guardian in this line up.
