Can There Be Another Ultimate Skin?

If you think there are other suitable candidates for an Ultimate skin, and/or other suitable concepts for an Ultimate skin that isn't Element-based, please discuss it down below. I'm actually eager to see what ideas people can come up with. And hopefully Riot will pick them up or get some inspiration from what the players can suggest.

But barring that... we have a problem. There isn't another suitable champion or concept for an Ultimate skin. By which I mean an ultimate skin on par with the precedent set by Elementalist Lux. We already saw this issue when they were forced to reduce the price of Gun Goddess Miss Fortune thanks to the community outcry over the fact it was, regardless of your opinion on which skin suits your fancy, less content than Elementalist Lux.

They've driven themselves into a hole by drastically increasing the quantity included in what's to be considered a 3250RP skin. They can't get away with something that simply transforms the same basic look like PF Ezreal, they can't get away with only three transformations like DJ Sona or GG Miss Fortune, and they can't get away with something that just looks like a solid visual update like SG Udyr.

So we're left with my title statement. There isn't, as far as I can figure, even another champion suitable for an ultimate skin on par with Lux. I first thought, "well, maybe they could make Elementalist an Ultimate-only skin line." In which case, Brand would be the most suitable candidate. But aside from him, I can't think of a champion with the popularity and kit to be able to make 10 different forms work. Never mind trying to imagine a different skin concept that would be able to include 10 forms for one of the more popular champions who doesn't have large, flashy abilities.

Regional Champion Jax

can change his outfit and weapon to match the different regions of runeterra, and his AA animation changes based on the weapon he wields

Demacia - jax is suited up like a Demacian General suited in shiny Ivory and gold armor, wielding item 3143 and his AA show him bashing the shield into his enemies

Noxian - Jax is suited up like a Noxian Champion in Spiky/bladed dark steel armor and red tattered cape, wielding item 3071 and his AA shows him hacking away at his enemies with his cleaver

Ionian - Jax is geared up like a high rank Monk, with the Ionian Symbol tattooed on his chest and back, glowing a mystical teal color, wielding item 3161, his AA show him slashing and stabbing his enemies

freljordian - Jax gears up in the armor of the Winter's Claw, his mere presence on the field frosts the ground around him and crystallizes the brushes and river, he wields the item 3022 which he brutally swings around as he attacks his enemies

** Shuriman** - jax is suited up in golden shuriman armor, like the highest ranking a soldier can obtain under the rule of the Great Azir, wielding item 3031 and lashing out at enemies with it in his AAs

Icathian - Jax wears his Kohari armor from the old days once again and wields item 3115, carving up his enemies into ribbons with swift AAs

Pilty/Zaunite - Jax gears up in a Hextech/Chemtech battle suit and wields the mighty and deadly item 3146, stabbing and slashing enemies that try to stop him

Targonian - Jax finds ancient Lunari gear that he wears in the Name of the mountain, still radiating pale magical light, wielding item 3170, may mercy be upon those who suffer pain from his AAs

Void - The Watchers have plans for the Grand Master, whispers have been ringing in his mind, as it has in the Prophet's mind before, Jax has succumbed to the will of the Void and will bash in the skulls of his enemies with the mighty item 3135 in hand

BilgeWater - Jax always wondered how Life at sea would be, and honestly? he has to admit Captain Jax has a nice ring to it, who needs a fancy weapon out here? if he can beat voidborn with a lamp he can beat humans and undead to a bloody pulp and feed them to the fishes with item 3053!

shadow Isles - Jax has fallen to the curse of ruination, now an undead, nothing can stop the grand master, glowing a sickly green glow and rapped up in his blackened clothes, he wields the item 3508, cleaving the souls of enemies with every attack

Do we need to try and make the Ultimate skins better and better every time? I'm sure there are plenty of concepts for Ultimate skins that could work.

I'm pretty sure GGMF was reduced cost from the start and was not reduced due to outcry.

Xerath AurelionSol Jayce All have interesting base concepts you can use to build up a ultimate skin.

Elementalist Lux is just a magical girl changing costume/haircut.

I'm sure if riot can think of an Ultimate Ahri skin that doesn't transform, they'll do it and make bucketloads of cash.

One of the reasons why I'm starting to like ultimate skins less and less sometimes I only want 1 or 2 of the transformations. I didn't get Elementalist Lux for that very reason. Another thing is Lux isn't that great in what they were able to do with her in part because there's a limit to how much memory a skin can take up and that skin needed tons of short cuts in order to make work.

My problem with GG MF was half of that and half of the fact I was getting tired of giving riot my money. Now that I've been playing too much Azur Lane, I realize GG MF was a massive mistake because a slooty WW2 warship themed ultimate would have suited her so much better. If they did the designs right, just think of all of the plot armor and big gun jokes and memes we could have done on that one. Riot literally missed the boat on that one, all because they aren't paying attention to china/japan.

As for other ideas...

I think all champs who don't spike early could get an ultimate where they start off weak at level 1 wearing starting gear like you'd see in an MMO and by level 18 they are decked out in the best raid gear

Nidalee is probably going to get 1 for every large cat and elise is probably going to get multiple spider forms.

Illoai could probably get a skin where she starts out as a normal human and turns into an eldrich being. It'd be great to release around halloween. Karthus starts out human and turns more and more undead as he levels. Victor could get a similar treatment but he goes from human to robot.

Ahri - her 3rd pop star skin will let her turn into 20 different pop idol themes.

I really think the problem is a question of resources and not ideas.

If there's one character who suits the theme of having multiple forms over time it would be Viktor. I'd love to see a Glorious Evolution Viktor, in which he pursues his fabled quest for perfection in real-time.

They'll do another shitty for-girl champ, lke the last two. Something with Ahri, Annie or some other shit. Or Lux again... Seriously, it wouldn't be so strange to me.

I am pretty sure people will accept an Ultimate Skin as long as it encapsulates the character perfectly, like SG Udyr, DJ Sona, and Elementalist Lux do. These are perfect refinements of what a character could be, and thus are worthy of the title.

You can't simply sit here and say "you can't create anything better than this," or "you've been as creative as you're ever going to be," because phrases like those are exactly what causes innovation and stuff to blow your mind. It's kind of a stupid assessment to make that someone has hit the threshold of creativity, and that there's no more room to be creative. It's ENTIRELY possible to one-up stuff you've done in the past, simply based on the constant improvements to technology. Ahri could single handedly carry a new ultimate skin, as could someone like Jinx, Jhin, Yasuo, or someone like Zyra, who's begging to have a an ultimate skin line where she can toggle between different seasons. There's also a multitude of other triggers, as evidenced by Kayn, so don't ever say that creativity isn't possible, when there's not really any hard cap at all on it.

Shyvana. Think it would be cool seeing her absorb drakes when slaying them making her change form entirely or partially for every drake shes killed that game.
