Poppy is an Avenger?

Not just one, but TWO.

The shield throwing passive reminds me of Captain America. The hammer reminds me of Thor, how she's looking for a hero worthy of wielding it (though she's able to lift it) and how she spins it around and knocks people halfway across Runeterra.

The nature of her weapon (and a yordle wielding a weapon far larger than them) reminds me of a champion concept I wrote when I started playing of a yordle who wielded a large weapon. It was basically a reflection of the story of King Arthur and Caledfwich, the Sword in the Stone (not Excalibur). No one could pull the sword, and it became a forgotten landmark until a touring yordle comes along, pulls it and becomes Avatar, the Hero Reborn (not related to the Avatar from Ultima. I just suck with names). He was supposed to be a mobile disruptor in roughly the same vein as Poppy, but with a lot more vaulting involved, and his ult was a combination of Shen and Ezreal's ults. He'd buff the target and after a windup, launch himself to them as a global ult (he'd use the sword to launch himself like how Thor flies with his hammer, coincidentally), damaging everything in his path (the target dying in transit would cause Avatar to land and make some awkward comment).

Yeah, I'm loving this. I'm going to play the fuck out of Poppy once she's relaunched.
