Elderwood vs Coven

So, with Elderwood having been announced to receive more skins, I've been left wondering why Coven hasn't received a skin in two years? In lore the two skin lines are in a battle against one another, leaving me to believe there are more Champions who are in the Coven. Elderwood Nocturne is an old god, which is what the Coven is... worshiping? I guess? Elderwood Veigar was driven mad by having gotten into contact with the madness the Coven is spreading. I'm just lost at why there's so much more info about the Elderwood than the Coven, when the Coven is literally the reason behind most of the Elderwoods lore? Like, all of them mention the corruption and evil the Coven has been bringing. Are we ever going to get anything more on it? Please.

Elderwood and Coven are fantastic lines that actually make the game feel better. These lines have it all... Creepy, mysterious, sexy, dark

I think all these mecha, urban hip, and now oversaturation of anime makes the game ugly to look at.

Elderwood bard was a bit of a weak start... Kind of hard to tell what he was supposed to be, but something about him had a cool dark corrupted vibe. However with all subsequent releases each skin was great. Coven lissandra nails it.

It's only been a little over a year as coven/eclipse was at the end of 2018.

That being said, it was only the beginning of them extending the line some more as it hadn't had much done in awhile. We don't even know what is coming aside from Ornn this year. There could be other sides to the universe along with him. It might not all be Elderwood like 2019.

I would love an Elderwood event... I'm shocked nobody mentioned the death blossom, but I agree with u all more or less.

If anything, this would be a great opportunity to give Bard the chromas he deserves.

Eclipse seems to rotate between its sub-themes; the new sub-themes, Coven and Eclipse, two years ago, Elderwood last year. Hell, this year, we might even finally get some modern Death Blossom skins!

The reason why is Riot. When the coven skin line with Lissandra and Camille was being made nobody believed that it would sell and nobody was really "there" for it. That is why when the coven skinline was released they did not have a story iirc. Skins always come with stories but since people at Riot thought the skins would fail they simply did not bother. Later on when they released tho and people saw the skins were selling at least "okay" if not good, well then they decided to give them a story. Furthermore when skins release there is always an event, or an icon or an emote that comes with it. Again Riot never believed the Coven skinline would make it so they decided not to give Coven Lissandra and Coven Camille any event,icon or emote. Riot Stellari who left the company worked hard on these skins and she believe in them but everyone around her did not. I am grateful that the skins were made but don't hold your breath for more coven content.
