Jhin's Splash vs Loading In Differences?

I noticed this shortly after his released that Jhin splash art has him facing left (his right) with an orange-ish eye exposed http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Jhin_0.jpg

But his champion icon and the picture bar during loading in screen both have him facing right (his left) with a blue eye exposed Jhin https://gyazo.com/c0fbce3ac8a834c02d7826e1a9ebfcbe http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-A8u35wcJjFE/VqAcPo7gYGI/AAAAAAAA3Ic/vo0tyf-oFh4/s1600/Jhin_0.jpg

NOTE: I grabbed the picture of Jhin's load in screen from surrender@20 and on there it has him with an orange eye, but I thought it was blue. Maybe I'm just remembering incorrectly. I'd play a game until I get a Jhin then grab a screenshot from there, but I have to go soon so I'd have to go back and edit it in if I do.

I don't think any other champion does this, so I'm assuming it's purposeful, but what is the purpose, exactly?

Most champions face right in loading, i think. Splashes in the store are set to the left so the info thingy can be seen without blocking them.

splash arts face to the left so they better accommodate their position on the champion page
