Hey riot/community I have an awesome idea for a league of legends book that I think will sell out in days if we can create it, my idea is too make it a series of books in which some will take place in either summoners rift or twisted treeline, it could start out by having a bunch of champions having their reason of why they decided to battle, and their lore to describe who they are. Community can you help me get riot to notice me so we can make this book a legit thing, i've somewhat started writing it but until we get this idea to be 100% to be created then i wont do anything more with it... I may seem like a nobody but im only 14 who has many skills with tech and story-writing and im trying to make a living off that which is why i am trying to get riot to hire me, even though im 14... as a head game producer or something in that field so community if you can get anybody from riot who can give me a thumbs up on this project then THANKS! Riot workers if you need further info. on this then email me, ask for it in a private message since i cant give away personal information about it.Kennen Teemo

Sorry to be that kind of guy here, but your idea has pretty much 0 chance to get done, because of the following reasons: First of all a book itself might sound cool on paper, but it creates several problems in that it would divide the lore that we get(people who buy the book get more, while the rest gets left out) and you'll also have to take localization problems into account(the book should be avaliable everywhere after all).

Then there is the fact that your idea doesn't fit into the new canon, the League of legends itself was retconned from the lore,so the champs fighting on summoners rift or twisted treeline would need to establish why these champs came to those places and fight there in the first place.

Last but not least,I really doubt that riot would let someone who they don't know write stories for them. I mean Riot doesn't know how good you are,how familiar you are with the lore, etc.,so letting you write for them could seriously mess up their future plans for the lore.

Video games have done book tie ins for awhile. And while I don't want to crush dreams they are almost always projects initiated by the company first, so that they can guarantee the result will not go against later plans.

I'd suggest working on your own stuff, keep writing, and see what themes and conflicts interested you so much in your book idea and see what you can cannibalize for your other projects.

Like GreenLore, I really hate to be "that guy", but this is really kinda...reaching. If you want to write, that's cool, do it. I've been published once or twice in small, local publications, when I was doing stuff at my university, and it's a really great feeling. But very few people are going to print something from someone as young as you are, especially a professional game company that doesn't really do books anyway.

What I'd advise you to do, if you want to write these stories, is just to do it for yourself, or your friends, or something like that. If you want to post them on something like FanFiction.net or whatever, also a good idea to stay in practice. Don't stop writing if it's something you want to make a career out of.

( And like, side-note, people will tell you Fanfiction is a shitty way to practice, but honestly, it's not a bad idea at all. You're forced to write within constraints of an established setting, and that can force you to be a little more creative with your plots.)
