Some speculation on Jax lore

I'm pulling ideas out of my ass rn but here are some core ideas that I believe Jax's direction should be taken. This is also disregarding his current bio as I think it isn't a very satisfying progression for his character and feels very odd (In my opinion)

After the fall of Icathia, Jax had to blend in best he could. He traveled Shurima for decades, not letting on he was Icathian. I'm sure he would be subject to a lot of discrimination. And at the time I am willing to guess it wasn't particularly unusual for non-human kind to be around, but as time went on and Shurima descended into collapse, he moved on to Valoran, Blessed Isles, Ionia, Freljord, Ixaocan, Targon, Freljord. Pretty much a nomad soul searching after he lost his people and culture. As time went on he had to withdraw more and more because he wasn't human and people were finding him scary. I would guess he chilled in Ixaocan for a long time or another very secluded place. Possibly even other continents? (It could make sense. Jax has been away from the known continents and decides to come back after hearing about the return of Azir or something). The thing is, I don't see how Jax would have done anything particularly active against the void because he wouldn't have any knowledge about what he could do.

So he comes back to the known world, I would love to explore his "recruitment" of people. Some champions that are probable candidates in my opinion are: Kassadin Kaisa Neeko Taliyah Nasus AzirZilean

I could see him finding Zilean's tower in the wastelands of Icathia. The void activity probably has gone down a lot in the centuries. Maybe he could meet Zilean and that would spark his drive to revive Icathia with Zilean's help.

but as time went on and Shurima descended into collapse,

Shurima didn't collapse in time. It all collapsed at once when Xerath did his shit but before that it was actually still growing in power

Don't forget Fiora They do fight in his color story and someone of her talent is somebody he would want to join his cause.

I've also explored Jax as a nomadic drifter, a common thing with the nationalist is that most of them have no frame of reference to explain the powerful love they have of their country. They've usually never lived anywhere else so they can't empathize with other people or put themselves in their shoes / see the worth in another way of life. Having Jax see other regions got through struggles, both the good and the bad might make him stop looking back so fondly on Icathia and become more of a "citizen of the world". He could see all of the little cycles of the world repeating endlessly throughout the years and it could make him realize how small and petty Icathia really was. Noxus reflects the Ancient Shuriman Empire in this respect and Ionia is sort of like Icathia in this context. There's no need to identify so strongly with your flag because that's just how the world works see: big fish, eat little fish ... not the more ego-involved "Shurima is pure evil and MY Icathia was a bastion of independence and freedom" shallow-ass PoV he would have had as a soldier. Not saying imperialism is right or wrong, I'm saying Jax would be able to detach more easily is all.

From this point in his character development he could focus on destroying the Void to cleanse the memory of Icathia, not really interested after thousands of years in bringing it back. After all it won't matter who is on top when the eldritch nothingness consumes us all. The lore seems to be taking a page from Game of Thrones books in this respect. Setting up all these pettier conflicts which encourages the key players in the world to ignore a more pressing threat in the background.

So if the Void = White Walkers does Jax = John Snow?
