New Champion?
When will the new champion be teased? Its been a while since Irelia was released so I dont know what Riot is waiting for... Ideas?

Riot isn't waiting for anything they are just finishing the champion.
It is very likely that the new champion is Bilgewater related (probably from the Ocean too) as in a recent Nexus post Riot said they wanted to explore a couple areas and they have explored all of those areas since except the Freljord and Bilgewater. They added a picture of a magical looking snowball thing so its probably a hint towards a Nunu rework, leaving Bilgewater alone.
Since we pretty much know every rework that is going to fill up the year, we can pretty much guarantee a new champion this year will be from Bilgewater. As for why its likely they come from the sea, Riot specifically said they wanted to explore the sea's depths or whatever. Also Swain has a quote teasing their is something hiding under the water (probably the Void as seen in Nami's comic but it also might be the Shadow Isles).

New champs come out roughly every 2 months. Kai'sa was released one month ago so you can expect a teaser within the next month. Unless they do another duo release, which I don't think they'd do. If they did it would be about 3 months from now.
I've heard from some sources that it's going to be a support from Bilgewater, but there's not much merit to those claims. If it is then you can expect a pirate-ish champion. Like GP, MF, etc.
the teaser will be at the next roadmap , next week, a female bilgewater champ and the release will be probaly 8.11
My prediction date is patch 8.10
The new champ's teaser is in the roadmap next week
The new champ will be revealed at the end of April (Maybe another teaser/trailer)
The new champ will be on the PBE at May 1, Tuesday
The new Champ will be on live servers at May 16, Wednesday
OFF Topic: I predict aatrox will soon come follow after this predicted patch. 8.11 to be exact. While akali will be in June.
