Ionia vs Freljrod

If a war would broke out betwen those 2 and somehow Noxus and Demacia and the smaller kingdoms betwen them vanished (not the land itself the countries as states and their people I mean), who would win? Both Freljord and Ionia are united. Freljord doesn't get demigods or the Watchers but they get all the Iceborns alive with their respective True Ice artifacts and weapons including Lissandra. Ionia doesn't get the Spirit of Ionia. No World Runes and both get 1 year of preparation. So who would win? And I mean the whole factions not just the champions.

Spirit of Ionia and Syndra are enough to destroy many freljordian armies if you exclude demigods and not them. They are not insta win but they increase the chance significantly.

Without them I would say Frejlord. Freljordians are living in war since the beginning and are more experienced than ionians. They are also more savage, tough and stubborn, which make them harder to defeat.

I wanna give it to Freljord since they have been fighting each other for generations, as opposed to Ionia who has been peaceful until the recent Noxian Invasion. Ionia definitely has a couple power houses, like Zed and his shadow ninjas, a few vastayan rebels, and a couple oddball eastern fighters like Lee Sin, Master Yi and Yasuo, and that's before you mention Syndra. But besides them, their people probably get butchered by the toughened people of the Freljord.

Iceborn are uncommon but would probably still be in enough numbers to make an impact. True Ice has some nasty properties, damaging ghosts and void creatures, so any of those weapons are pretty strong. I even think the ninjas would have a tough time beating back the berserkers that come from Freljord, let alone the frost trolls (I presume a united Freljord includes Lissandra's troll army). Could Syndra solo carry Ionia? Eh, maybe, but Lissandra is so ancient and powerful that I wouldn't put it past her to match Syndra.

Either way, close fight. Ionia probably has a numbers advantage, but Freljord is way more savage.

Its not fair excluding Demigods... They would fight for the Freljord, ESPECIALLY Anivia and Volibear :/

Both factions have civil wars within them , and are not united at all , so i think it would be hard to group them all and put them in 1 war

although i think the 3 freljord tribes will group when the watchers break free from their prison , and lissandra will unveil the secrets she has kept so she can save her faction

I'd side with Ionia. Now, I know that the Freljord has strong fighters and intelligent people (such as Lissandra), and a lot more warriors than Ionia does ... However, I think that Ionia has a lot more mages than the Freljord. I know that magic doesn't necessarily mean victory, but given that Freljordians have no way to counter it (No demacian steel or anything right ?), the Ionian mages could launch a bunch of attacks even before the Freljordian could come to them. And let's not forget that Ionia has a lot of smart people too ( if Shen, Karma, and all the 'Balance is everything' people decide to fight, they can build up strategy). Last but not least, Ionia has Syndra. I know she's not all-mighty and all but ... Come on, she can effortlessly lift huge warships and half of a fortress. Imagine what she could do if she were to use all her strength ! And tbh, she could just send giants boulders or even some pieces of land, directly to the enemy. And, even if I'm not sure about that that one, her power keeps growing as time passes, so during the "1 year of preparation" she will get stronger. Okay I'll admit my judgement is a bit biased since Syndra is one of my favorite characters but still, she's undoubtedly one of the most powerful characters in lore (I mean, not taking into account Aurelion Sol, Bard, Kindred, etc), and she's not even at her full potential yet.

Now, none of this can, or ever will, canonnically happen, but I'm just going with the "what if scenario".

easy, ionia will win. 4 reasons why

1: irelia is strong enough to push noxus back a bit 2: ninjas assassinate, and yasuo is literally a nuke whether for ionia or not 3: although freljord are strong as hell with tryn and ashe and demigods, ionia still has karma and yi and wukong (needs a rework) 4: ionia is favored by riot, think about it... how many reworks did riot do to ionia champs compared to other factions?
