Who or what is Braum exactly?

Unless I missed something, the only information we have on Braum from his bio and his story is that he is just a really, really strong guy.

That can't be it. There has to be something else. No normal human being can live long enough to become a legend and a tale for at least three generations.

There used to be a popular theory about him being a watcher but it recently got denied by the release of Lissandra's and Vel'Koz's new lore.

Isn't there anything else we know about him or do we have to wait until his lore gets updated to have anything new?

Personally, I consider Braum to be akin to Pecos Bill, Paul Bunyan, or John Henry: a folkloric hero who may or may not actually exist, and who has stories larger than any mortal seems likely to have.

Because let's be honest -- we haven't yet 100% confirmed that all League champions exist on the same timeline, or are necessarily real. Braum seems to excel when his story is told in legend, Kindred may be merely representative, Bard plays his own game...these characters don't have to inhabit the world of Runeterra that the other champions inhabit to be interesting and evocative champions in their own right.

Well he cant be a watcher because they look similar to VelKoz and are much bigger and more terrifying! Before Lissandras Lore update nobody knew who he was because he lived too long to be just human but he has a shard of true Ice in his Door/weapon and that could maybe prolong his life! To conlcude, he might an Iceborn as with the Lissandra Lore update there is now a good amount of Iceborn in the Freljord but he might also be just human or another magically gifted race(there is more than Iceborn people)

I read a theory that he might be a spirit similar to Janna, "powered" by the people believing in him.
