I'd love to see a Runeterran twist to a medieval aesthetic with Icathia. Jax somewhat resembles a medievalist style especially with his plume, Zilean has clockwork and The Last Light of Icathia has a medieval look to it imo.

Could be some pretty cool stuff. Although for me, I envision Icathia as a pretty progressive society in terms of technology (for that time period in Runeterra) for some reason. Who knows though, Riot can explore a lot of options.

Given that Icathia used to be part of Shurima, a desert kingdom(and going by the story where Icathia fell I get the impression that Shurima was already a desert back then),with people who are named "Axamuk Var-Choi Kohari Icath’or", I really doubt that they'd be based around european medieval culture,as it would clash far too much with the established facts.

Also Demacia is pretty much based on medieval european cultures,with knights, kings and royals.Not to mention that the holy-motif fits the crusades of the middle ages.

Icathia would have Ancient type of Architecture and design, due to it falling long before the Darkin War and Rune Wars.
