#Emphisis on my Opinion.

#Pros:

  • The selection ( Zoe, Neeko, Xayah and Rakan ) is pretty fruitful.
  • Adds more backstory to Ahri.
  • Allows Zoe her own backstory.
  • There is now a real antagonist.

#Interests:

  • Feel a little like they keep dodging Annie, who hasn't received a skin since 2017. She would've been a good addition, let alone the perfect legendary skin. Since she's a cheap beginner's champion, there would naturally be more sales. ( Like how Ashe skins get sales despite her not being as popular. )
  • Wondering sincerely why they didn't save the legendary slot for Xayah and Rakan for a versus event.
  • Why hasn't there been a Star Guardian skin who is a familiar themselves? This would strike both groups for people who are lusting after a new skin for a champion who hasn't received any in a long time or a champion who would fit in as a familiar. ( Ornn, Tahm Kench, Aurelion Sol, Rek'Sai. )
  • Of all champions to be "dolled-up" and embodying darkness, how come Cassiopedia was never brought up?

#Cons:

  • Zoe is evil, which seems like a dead run-on-joke to those who actually play Zoe. If they're gonna do this to Zoe, how come there isn't a joke skin for Yasuo? Or even, why isn't Camille inherently the root of all evil in the Coven skinline, yet Lissandra is?

  • Xayah and Rakan's legendary skins are far too close to the original model, which is not to say I don't understand visual clarity but... Ahri stood out, with a really different walk cycle and her tails being spread out more often. The last legendary skin, Project: Pyke almost didn't even touch the animations at all aside from his emotes. This seems to continually carry on ever since Leona's legendary skins, which though didn't change much of her animations; benefited from the unique change to her appearance after she had ulted. If this was the case for Xayah and Rakan, I would think they would gain more sales.

  • There is only 4 skins, disregarding the overly expensive chroma.

  • They're called Star Guardians despite having fallen.

  • Following the trend of past events and rumors, these skins will receive ( Except for prestige. ) chromas; which kills the current color format for Star Guardians.

Reference: Purple - Top - Janna / Syndra Blue - Jungle - Poppy / Ezreal ( At the time, Ezreal jungle was meta. ) Pink - Mid - Lux / Ahri Red - ADC - Jinx / Miss Fortune Green - Support - Lulu / Soraka

  • No Star Guardian Invasion, which is probably one of the main reasons people were hyped up for the event.
  • Another Prestige skin given to a champion who barely stays visible. ( Neeko transforms, Evelynn is perma-invisible, Vayne can nearly always be unseen during ult. )

I mean, there are 4 skins because those are Ahri's old team members Hopefully they don't get chromas, blood moon skins getting chromas was enough, i don't want them to ruin other iconic skin line colors with chromas

[sg-lux-2] What kind of troll ass people are you playing with that any of these are common? Ez jg wasn't even meta then, ez jg was like mf support, a very specific pick in a pro game that yolo queue players didn't understand and blindly copied.
