$5 that they will completely re-work Gragas Esquire's splash art in a couple of weeks. You're making children think that booze and cigs are awesome, that getting fat is cool and funny; and what do you think that their pro-socialism parents would say about this skin?

It's breaking like 50 deadly sins of the Beeble, man. Maybe if you had to pay for Graves' skin it would be fine and dandy.

EDIT: I fail to see how this does/does not promote capitalism. As Esquire is an old british title used to refer to men of higher social status.

I didn't feel the urge to go out and buy cigarettes (I can if I want to) by looking at it.

If Riot is forced to censor due to laws of other countries they should just censor the art for those specific league clients.

I get wanting to have one splash for every region but it's not fair to other regions who do have the ability to enjoy some things in their to game to have them removed just because Rito wants everything to be uniform. That to me is a stupid reason.

I'm not certain, but I think that right know certain countries have different skin splashes (example: NA Nurse Akali and Chinese Nurse Akali), but I think Riot is looking for a more uniformed "one splash fits all" approach in the future, so all new splashes are being implemented worldwide. Thus the sudden need for censorship.

Personally I think this is some lazy bullshit, but as splash arts in LoL continue to improve I can start to see why they don't wanna draw a new one for every region. On the other hand they make millions of dollars (624 million in revenue in 2013) so they should damn well we giving each of us a unique pretty picture. The only way I can see justifying a uniformed splash art for all regions is if they become animated or something like the "super skins" Pulsefire Ezrael and Spirit Guard Udyr are.

So in short Gragas will keep his sweet cigar, but if his splash ever gets updated I can almost 100% assure you that he will lose it. As for the alcohol.. I dunno. I mean they kind of made Gragas a drunk so I don't see how they can take away his booze.

When did Riot ever say they were removing the cigar because it represented tobacco usage? Most likely they remove it because it didn't match his model and figured people would complain.

My issue with the removal is that regions like china have had their own champion art for years (old karthus because of his skull face for example), but for this we had to change every region's art for graves. That doesn't make sense. That makes me think something is either retarded or this is bulllshit.

Can you guys PLEASE go look up Tobacco Advertising laws in the US. PLEASE! You can't use tobacco to make someone seem cooler. It is against the goddamn LAW. Like what do you want Riot to do, change the law? I'm sure they'll get right on that.

This tobacco in Gragas splash will most likely be removed eventually, because he is advertising the use of tobacco, which is illegal in the US. Advertising alcohol is NOT illegal in the US. Do you get it yet?
