Aatrox's sealing in the blade was for a reason

As the title says, I think that I might have found a reason to everyone's betrayal on Aatrox.

As we know, In the short lore bit in the PBE, it's revealed that the Darkin, at least the first couple of waves that came to earth, actually helped Shurima against The Void, standing as proud guardians and protcetors with the Ascended. However, that era ended when Shurima began to fear Darkin as a bigger threat, and killed all of them, besides the five who were sealed away, with help from the Targonian Aspects. Among the lines of Aatrox, we can actually hear that he fears he was indeed corrupted by the Void, from all the fighting. That really got me thinking, I mean it's not everyday you hear a Darkin actually afraid. So what I think happend is this: The Darkin did manage to fight off the Void, with the help of the Ascended and Aspects, but while doing so got corrupted by the Void. Knowing there's no saving them now, Shurima decided to kill the Darkin then before they keep infecting everyone, causing confusion and hate from the Darkin, which brought more Darkin to eart in order to win the war. However, they knew there were Darkin that were still on their side, so they and the Aspects sealed away the remaining healthy Darkin, the last 5, in order to both protect them from the infection and to ask for their help later on, in case of another Void event, but as we all know, they couldn't because of Shurima's fall. Aatorx wasn't stabbed it the back, he was saved, but seeing how he had to watch his brothers and sisters get corrupted, slain by the ones he called friends, then sealed away in a greatsword for hundreds of years for no reason, that's gotta change a person. This lethal combination made Aatrox the one thing Shurima feared he would become, Aatrox himself hates what he is now because of it, and now he'll still kill the Void, but at the cost of our world in ruins, and everything dying.
