Hey I main Taliyah and just read her extensive lore which I really liked. Read Xerath and Azir's too to get the full picture but I wanted to bring light to something aside from that. The tribe grandmother in the lore of Taliyah's is called Babajan but in my culture and language Babajan is the word for grandpa. Bebejan is the word for grandmother. Is this possibly a mistake?
It's a fictional language, so I'm guessing any resemblance it bears to a real one is inspiration at best.
It's quite possible someone at Riot looked up a foreign language word for "grandparent" and swapped a vowel to make a fantasy-Egypt style name, in which case it's probably a coincidence it ended up that way.
...Although, we do have Mordekaiser, so Riot's not averse to using actual non-English words in names. So maybe. You'd really probably have to ask the writer.

It's a fictional language in a fictional universe haha, It may follow some other trends within the real world but ultimately it is not real therefore several liberties and changes/derivatives may be made as long as it follows and keeps constant
