Lore personalities are really interesting
Like, some lore in game isn't the same is how a champ is seen in game.
For example, Irelia. Everyone kinda hates her in game, but in lore, she hates fighting, hates murder, and doesn't want to lead. Shes kinda being forced to lead by everyone else.
We have karma, who to those who don't know her lore is essentially the avatar, being the most violent reincarnation of karma.
We got Darius whose an orphan who grew up on the streets, and with grit and determination, went up through the ranks by sheer force, power, and willpower.... and was forced to kill his childhood friend/lover in service and loyalty to noxus.
We have Bard, who literally stops people from genociding other people.
Its interesting and fun
In the lore, this guy is a friendly every-day hero, trying to make Zaun as safe as possible for it's citizens. In the game, he is constantly talking about ending humanity and how he wants to crush your bones. Also, he is feared as the literal grab of death. He is the personification of doom, meanwhile has no ability whatsoever to aid his teammates, except dragging an enemy in certain death once in a whle.
