Ezreal's Mystery Finally Going to Get Solved Next Rework.

Ezreal, Kayle and Morgana are receiving the next reworks

Ezreal's lore had 2 mysteries. 1 is his parents, who are traders/treasure hunters who suddenly stopped coming to visit Ezreal and his Uncle in Piltover. Ezreal knows his parents are searching for Ne'Zuk's tomb for an ancient artifact that (a.k.a Gauntlet/Glove) can teleport its user to any place. So when Ezreal grew up he was preparing for the journey of his life. Finally, he found Ne'Zuk's tomb, he only found 1 glove. The 2nd glove is missing. And that's the 2nd mystery. Recently Riot announces Ezreal's rework. With every rework comes a new or expanded lore of a champion. I'm pretty excited for where the 2nd glove might be. I have heard the theory that the second glove might be the one that Kassadin uses. I mean, it kinda makes sense.

If that theory about the 5th world rune being in Ezreal's gauntlet becomes canon, that would be cool to have a Ezreal/Ryze rivalry

Lets not get to excited as we know Riot might simply just change his current lore a bit and never touch it again in the next 3 years..

I wouldn't count on his story getting solved. Sure his story will likely progress to some extend,but I feel like a solution would be too fast.

The other theory i've heard is that Ekko has the shattered remains of the other glove in his Z- Drive. Cause if Ezreal is Space and moving between things, and Ekko is time, hmmmm space and time.
