Why is Maokai not friends with Ivern?
It says he's friends with Malphite on the official website which is definitely understandable, but shouldn't he be friends with Ivern too?

Because Maokai stuck on shitty island with spooky scary skeleton.
Just because they're both trees means they're friends? This is so offensive.
Good Tree turned evil and Evil Guy turned Good Tree not getting along seems somewhat sensible, since they practicly look into a warped mirror. Dunno if Ivern remembers being evil though.
They have rather different views on the world
One line from Maokai (when Ivern is in the enemy team and you throw a sampling) sounds like: ”Watch out my sampling, Ivern is watching” So they shouldn’t like each other (or at least Maokai doesn’t like Ivern), because then the line would be useless.
