I think Riot handles Xerath really well describing wise, they really give the feel he is a terrifying oppenent and should be taken seriously. For that one of many reasons I just want more. More Shurima lore please. There are so much questions with so much plots about to happen.

Riot's the most "to be continued" faction is definitely Shurima, second is not even close IMO. This faction is literally screaming for "write me".

You are 100% correct, but incase you have this view because of your enjoyment of the Shuriman gods I'd also like to remind you and others that Icathia is rumored to be from Shurima as well.

Icathia is the single-most thing to be expanded on in League lore

Xerath is nice because he's a sympathetic antagonist that ties with his story and he isn't just sympathetic for audience feels.

He also has pretty cool design. ENERGY LEGS

I love Xerath lore but his in game just doesn't seem like it fits. Like we have this largely emotional and almost anarchist character but all of his like model animations don't seem very vengeful. He also needs better sounds to really fit his lore.

I have to disagree, as Freljord's been on the brink of an all-out war plus an Iceborn + Voidborn invasion for all of League's lifetime.

I'm not sure if Shurima even existed before the retconning.

One of my favorite quotes is Lissandra's, "I've been killing your kind for centuries!" The way she says it with her posture while saying it is chilling. It's like a death sentence.
