Welcome to the semi-finals! In the first semi-final, both stories deal with matters of power and rule in two different nations of Runeterra. The Principles of Strength takes place in Noxus, in which a member of an outlying fortress realizes the discipline required for a nation's strength. Twilight of the Gods takes place in Shurima after the fall of Azir and the corruption of many of the Ascended, in which one such Ascended discusses with the others about what must be done with the crumbling empire.
#2018 Lore Tournament: Day 23
The Principles of Strength by Anthony Reynolds Alyssa Roshka Gloriana val-Lokan and her brother Oram Arkhan val-Lokan discuss the agreements between Noxus and the Delverhold with the Noxian Trifarix. The visit to Noxus teaches Alyssa to realize the principles of a nation's strength, and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.

Twilight of the Gods by Graham McNeill Azir has fallen. Shurima is crumbling. Too many of the remaining Ascended have been scarred and corrupted by the Void, and have become Darkin. The panther Ta'anari, one such Darkin, speaks with Myisha, the former Aspect of Twilight, about what must be done to stop the violence. Little does Ta'anari know that Myisha has more in mind than simply stopping the corrupted Darkin…
[EDIT] This was a close one at first, but then Twilight of the Gods pulled away. With 46 to 29 votes, it moves into the final!
