So Morgana bound her celestial essence within some "iron chains." Can any iron bind celestials? Why do Morgana's chains look so ornate? Who forged the "iron chains?" Did she find them? Where did she find them? She was in Demacia at the time, so are they iron and petricite? Are the Lightbringers the order Kayle and Morgana founded? Did they make the chains? Did they find the chains? Are the "iron chains" she sealed her essence in a Darkin?

And if you don't love me now You will never love me again I can still hear you saying You would never break the chain.

She literally just found some stuff on the ground and used them to tie up her wings it ain't that deep.

I like to think that the Aspect of Justice has the power to bind the wicked with celestial chains and cleanse them with holy fire. When that power was passed down to the twins, it split between them. As we see in Morg's ult, she breaks her bindings to chain nearby enemies. Those chain can bind anything as she pleases. It does feel weird that she breaks her commandment to use her chains.
