Something I’ve noticed

So, the new Varus splash art is out and let me say, it is absolutely stunning. I think that, visually, it represents who Varus is currently better than his old splash art, and it really polished him up. He has a very Kayn vibe, which I think is fitting since they’re more or less the same kind of being.

What I have noticed, however, is that the people who are avidly complaining about the new splash, or the new!Varus in general are the exact same people who commented things like, “Finally League is giving me what I want!”, and, “Tits ftw” when Evelynn’s rework came out. It goes back to misogyny and blah blah, but I won’t use those words here because I might anger the gamer boys. Anyway- I’m so happy that they made Varus a twunky, beautiful man, because its something that I know a lot of people can really get into, such as the women who play League, the gay men that play League, and just the people who like men in general. He’s a glistening heartthrob, and some people are gay, Michael.

Thank you. (I’m prepared for the down votes because I’ve made posts like this before that more or less called out League for their lack of diversity etc. and apparently gamer-boizXD think being a good person is too PC so! That’s that!)

People that come to a conclusion without considering the other side realize they are prejudice.

I'm not downvoting for your stance on the issue. I personally prefer the new splash myself, and really couldn't care less about the new lore outside of the general improvement in background than he had before. I also preferred old Eve splash, I thought it captured a much more traditional succubus image vs. the "cutesy" theme she has now. It's w/e though, back to the point:

I'm downvoting because of your condescending tone and troubling logical jumps. Unless you're willing to call out specific people, I hardly doubt you've seen specifically the same exact people make post both praising the new evelynn splash and hating on the new varus splash. Even if you did, I doubt it's purely because of gender roles or w/e and more that Varus' identity was changed significantly more than Eve's. Unless a significant amount of the same exact people are posting with both the stances for the same reasons you claim, you have no reason to play the "misogyny" card on the whole community like that. It's extremely insulting and just wrong. I surely don't appreciate being grouped with those people.

Hopefully you proceed in life without letting pre-determined biases influence your view and decision making in situations, it's a problem that plagues a lot of people.

Also, I'm not really mad and I'm sorry if I come across like that over text. I'm just trying to be logical and convey my reasoning/stance in a calm manner.
