This game still lacks a Voodoo-based Champion

World of Warcraft has been going strong with its version of Voodoo (just look at the Zandalar scene), yet there are no Champions in the roster right now who utilize it, or at least something that's Voodoo in all but name. It'd be awesome if we got something like an expy (of sorts) of Baron Samedi, the Voodoo god of death and reincarnation, but any Champion who uses Voodoo would be good.

Of course, it doesn't have to be called Voodoo in Runeterra, but it should at least be Voodoo in all but name.

EDIT: I am fully aware of Tabu, who got cancelled during League's beta phase.

They have a voodoo skin for brand. Illaoi is kind of voodoo, she carries around a totem/fetish that materializes an aspect of her religion. She can pull out peoples souls and curse them.

They can always bring back Tabu, especially if they work on Kumungu next.

Why do we even need a voodoo champion? There are millions of other ways to make champions.

They actually planed a vodoo champ at the beginning of Lol (when they still had the old map) but the champ didnt make it into the game.

We have a big jungle to discover ! Who knows what is hiding in there

I mean, couldn't you argue that Illaoi has a semi-voodoo thing going on?

The closest we have to Zandalar in Runeterra is that of Buhru and the Serpent Isle natives, with Illaoi. We don't have that much on them other than just Illaoi though, but it was mentioned by a Rioter to be inspired by Mayan and Polynesian culture.

There were a few scrapped Voodoo champions back in the early days of League, including a witch doctor and a more sinister version of Maokai.

It'd be pretty cool to get a dreadlocked eye-covered shaman type with a thick Jamaican accent.

League is staying away from da voodoo.
