Something that's bugged me since it was released (Talon)

If you look at Dragonblade Talon's splash, you'll notice what seems to be a round notch in his blade, not only but the way the notch looks not only doesn't look intentional, but really looks like some art program's rubber tool, like Photoshop or something.
