How does Aatrox have anything to do with Tryndamere anymore?
I feel like with Aatrox's new background, it makes no sense as to how it is possible to do what he does. What I'm talking about is the "the mythical demon known as Aatrox sometimes turns the tide of unwinnable battles by turning all warriors into bloodthirsty monsters before disappearing" aspect from his previous lore. Aatrox's personality now makes absolutely 0 sense as to why he would pick and choose what battles he takes place in, and why he would even pick a side in the fight, he would just kill everything! It also contradicts the fact that he needs to keep killing to regain his body, so you'd think that it would be less of a mythical threat and more of a REAL THREAT WATCH OUT THAT'S AATROX! to Runeterra. How many souls does he need to consume to keep him going for a couple years? Wars don't happen every other day. Or does he need to absorb "x" amount of people at once for it to really matter? These are some things that I would really like to see the specifics of, or just rewrite Tryndamere's lore already please.
The thing I liked about old Aatrox's personality is that he saw war and bloodshed as an art, and wasn't actually good or evil. He looked like a creature of pure angelic beauty to the warriors he fought with, until they realized the horrific creature he was and turned them into to win the battle. The new Aatrox definitely still keeps the "do whatever it takes to win" and "has no remorse for any bledshed as long as he is killing" but in a totally different tone. His old personality was basically done a million times better in the form of Jhin, but I would still love to see some sort of vampire-warrior-vlad Champion but saw killing as an art to replace what old Aatrox use to be.
I'm excited for any Aatrox lore in the future, but that's definitely not my highest priority when compared to Morgana, Kayle, and Vlad
