Physical Locations of Game Maps in World Map

Hey Riot,

I know that the Twisted Treeline is somewhere in the Shadow Isles (based on the alters' interactions with champions originating from there) I know that the Howling Abyss is in the Freljord (because of the "Watcher" ghost of a shopkeep, and its topography)

But where is Summoner's Rift in Runeterra? And can we see these places specifically on the World Map? It'd be interesting to know their physical place in the world. Particularly for future stories, cinematics, and maybe even webcomics.

I do believe Summoner's Rift doesn't actually exist in League's new Lore. It was reconned out with the Institute of War and summoners.

But before that the Rift was located in a forest between the Freljord and the Ironspike Mountains IIRC

Twisted Treeline probably became noncanon twice in a row. First with the reboot of Shadow Isles aesthetic and second with the in general reboot of the lore

Howling Abyss and Butcher's Bridge are the only maps that accurately represent their canonical location from within the lore. With the exception of the shopkeeps, I dont believe they have an in-universe counterpart.

While Summoners Rift is simply a location made for the service of the game and has no place canonically within Runeterra.

Then it's debatable whether Twisted Treeline is canonical or not. Leaning more towards no. At least how the in-game map of TT isn't in any way accurate to how the location that might be TT in-universe is cannonically represented. Although TT is just a dated map that most players have forgotten about.

Summoners Rift is in the Alternate Universe of the Marauder and Warden skin sets, where Institute of War existed.
