[Riot 2017 Art Contest] A Cho'Gath Visual Update (Finished)

Sorry to ask but does anyone know when a Cho'Gath rework is coming? I've been waiting for like more than half a year now, hearing from multiple people such as redmercy and other channels that there will be a rework soon. The reason that i would like a rework is because Cho'Gath in my eyes just looks so dumb. Rek'sai and Kha'zix have a theme for the void with their purple lightning and purple scales, but then you see Cho'Gath and Kog'maw. Hell, even Malzahar and Kassadin have a void theme but the void monsters themselves don't. One cool concept i saw was the one link above.

Most league youtubers are just garbage that make videos on anything for money so don't trust what they say

They’ve said recently that there are no current plans to work on him anytime soon

According to Reav3, Cho'Gath is on the tier 1 VGU list, but "not super urgent atm". Champions who are mentioned here being high priority for the next VGU are: DrMundo Fiddlesticks Mordekaiser Nocturne

So I think we should not expect to see a Cho'Gath VGU next year, maybe they will rework him in 2020. We have to be fair, there are alot of champions in a worse state than Cho'Gath.

I mean... a visual sounds good, but a full scale re-work doesn't seem like a good idea.

Please riot, if you care about all the cho'gath main out there (including myself) please make this a real in game rework.

He should be changed since it's very unhealthy to build full tank and deal more damage than the "actual" damage carries. He can hit you with a couple of his spikes then you ult you to death if you aren't a tank yourself. Not to mention being unkillable, even moreso once he has gargoyle's.

Cho’s theme is that he gets bigger. Although Lulu + Steraks outclasses him.

A cho'gath rework is planned,but will likely not happen anytime soon,as there are just so many other champs that need a rework as well.

And well I can't blame them,since updating cho'gath is going to be a real pain in the butt,as he has a bunch of skins(including 2 legendaries) and he will likely receive different visuals with his growth stages,meaning that they'd likely end up requiring multiple models for each of his skins.
