Some of y’all bout to be real mad at me, but it must be said.

You guys need to stop acting like aurelion Sol is super op in lore. He really isn’t. If he was so op the celestial wouldn’t care so much about runeterra because they could just ask aurelion to help them. Literally someone called Aurelion sol a god recently. Like what? Yes some mortals worshiped him, but he’s nowhere as close to op as bard or nagaka-however you spell it. And no aurelion can’t just blow up runeterra, idk why y’all think that, the celestials wouldn’t let that happen. I feel like the power of a single world rune would literally be enough to blow up the entire dragon. Aurelion sol has been forging stars since the beginning of time and there are others like him and apperantly more frightening than him. Y’all act like he has the power to make an entire sun 1000000x as large as runeterra in an instant when in reality it doesn’t seem like that’s how he works. He’s a star forger not a star summoner. He probably makes suns over a very very long period of time. Also the sizes y’all think aurelion is... you really think he’s so big... like what lore are you reading sis???? Cus it ain’t the same as mine!!! Like yeah he’s stronger than the average mortal on runeterra after being alive for a bajillion years!!! Congrats!!! Y’all really think Aurelion Sol is the size of like 20 planets and y’all really think he could just 1v1 anyone on runeterra despite it being a planet full of prodigies; Like that could be true because riot writes a ton of lore that they decide to keep to themselves and not release, but from what we can read so far... it really ain’t. Aurelion is literally ZOE’S DOG!!!! PERIODTTT!!!! Damn near wouldn’t be surprised if she means that in a literal sense and she can collar aurelion the same way the targonians did.

They had to enslave him to get him to help. Chances are, he isn't allowed to unleash his full power as doing so might give him too much free reign to rebel (implied in his colour story that he doesn't use his full power). Besides, being interested in Runeterra doesn't make Aurelion less powerful, they might be after a more controllable method of dealing with the void.
He could probably blow up Runeterra, he would be punished for it.
The world runes are tools of creation used to forge the universe. That's like saying because a bodybuilder can be killed by a car, he isn't that strong. Hell, Aurelion might even be able to kill the wielder since it's likely no one or very few people who know how to fully unleash the runes' power.
Just because there are stronger beings than A Sol, that doesn't make him less OP. Similar to world rune argument.
Size is not proportional to power. You act like Bard is pretty OP, he is quite small, so similarly A Sol's size doesn't matter.
Zoe is part of the Targonian empire, he can't do anything about it. If anything, he would more likely do what she wants since she helps him out.

Are you just trying to argue that A Sol is not the strongest being in existence? I mean, I thought that was quite obvious in a world where death is an actual character, but yes, he is not. That does not make him any less OP. Compared to the rest of the champions, he is definitely in the top 5 in terms of power. I don't know particularly if he could beat out Bard, but we have no knowledge of Bard's power anyway.

You also seem to ignore that Targon uses A Sol for a reason. If he wasn't so OP, why would they need him to seal void rifts? They could just do it themselves. They didn't even beat him into subjugation, they tricked him using underhanded methods. If they were stronger than him, they could have enslaved more celestial creatures of similar power by now. Moreover, the fact that Targon fears his eventual escape from his enslavement (mentioned in his colour story) shows that he poses a threat to a civilization allied with several aspects.

And as to if he could just throw a star at Runeterra, once again, his colour story goes over an encounter where he conjures a star storm and is holding back.

The result is a dwarf replica of one of my majestic glories burning in the depths of space. After all, I can’t fling a full-fledged star at this fragile world.

Even then, in an instant he still conjures enormous amounts of power.

We become a storm of stars, the night sky incarnate, a maddening gyre of starfire. I conjure eddies of searing stardust, exhaling a heat so pure and dense it collapses the aura of this world just the tiniest bit, forever marring the planet’s curvature.

If you're point was that "Aurelion Sol is not a god", then that should have been your title. If you are legitimately trying to argue that Aurelion Sol is not one of the strongest beings in existence, then I disagree heavily.

I've been saying this for years. For some reason, the player base have just convinced themselves that Sol is like some galaxy-sized omnipotent god when nowhere has Riot claimed this. In fact, his story doesn't make sense if he's that powerful. It only makes sense if he is small enough to fly the skies of Runeterra, naive enough to be fooled by the Targonians, and weak enough to be imprisoned by them (and humiliated by Zoe). He may create stars, but nowhere is it claimed he makes them with a snap of his fingers. More realistically, he gradually nurtures a star into being over many centuries (which is why he is so heartbroken when the Targonians destroy one of his stars).

While ASol is NOT a god, he is a contender for top 4 most powerful champs.

Zoe, Kindred, Bard, and ASol.

Though to be honest the only contention here seems to be whether he or Zoe is in slot #3. The top of the power scale is most likely
