Why is Alistar not Vastaya?

"vastaya can look considerably different from one another, but they all share animal and human characteristics."

From the universe page, Alistar is not listed there as well as Nasus, renekton......

Vastaya are descendants of humans and ancient, magical, shapeshifting creatures called Vasthayashai'rei. They are a mixed bloodline that wildly vary in form because their appearance is heavily affected by their intrinsic magic and individual personalities.

Minotaurs are a discrete race like trolls. Whatever magical or environmental factors led to their current forms, they are not descendants of that tribe of humans and Vasthayashai'rei, so they are not vastaya. I'd love more information about them.

Nasus and Renekton were originally Shuriman humans who underwent Ascension, a Shuriman ritual that imbues the receiver with celestial power and greatly alters their physical form.

He's not a Vastaya because he's a Minotaur.

Don't ask me why Minotaurs are not Vastaya.

Nasus and renekton are ascended; they are basically gods, like Azir. I think that Alistar falls in a semi similar area and therefore isnt a vastya
