Today is the second semi-final, and the last contest to see who will be in the finals of the 2018 lore tournament! Today, both stories deal with the consequences of using great power. Where Icathia Once Stood tells how Icathia opened up a rift to the Void to defeat Shurima, but became destroyed themselves. From The Ashes tells the story of how Ryze, the Rune Mage, encountered Kegan Rodhe, the mage who would later become known as Brand, and took him in as his apprentice.
