Wouldn't be surprised if the Ixaocan are a break-off civilization from Icathia.
The names are slightly similar, they clearly have magic linked to the earth and Kumungu extends is very close to the Icathian peninsula.

I actually hadn't thought of that.. I hope your thought comes true because if it does, we could be looking forward toward the siege of Icathia and the possible destruction of the void spawns which have taken over it.
Or, Riot could go full unoriginal and just say "here, a vastayan tribe, take it"
