How did Braum get his ice powers?

I know how he got his shield from a door of a mountain but as far as I know there is no explanation for how he got his powers.

they probably come from the “door” he’s holding. after all, it’s an iceborn artifact, and whenever he uses ice attacks they come from his shield.

I dont really care about the ice powers... HE PUNCHED A MOUNTAIN AND WON, even before getting that weird door, he was already super powerfull for a human being without using ice powers.

Braum is likely an iceborn, demi-god, or something similar. He's ancient, very powerful (he punched his way through a mountain to save a kid, and held the rubble up on top of his shield), and seems to know about Lissandra and all them.

Braum is really old and we don't even know what species he technically is. He could have got his ice powers a number of ways though he does use the door in most of the animations for anything ice reated.
