It’s a shame that so many people hate Jarvan

Well gameplay wise people think he is cool but in terms of character and lore it’s a real shame. Because he is my favourite both times. I don’t mean they find him bland but they just hate him. Idk I guess people have their own opinions. Jarvan fans are small but we do stick together.

Confession, Jayce was my favourite champion before Riot changed his lore and character into something I didn’t like then one day I came across Jarvan and I fell in love with this good man so yeah that’s my story. I admit Jayce’s new lore is interesting but his character is not something I can like any more. Call me boring but I like good hearted champions. I wonder how long it will last 😭. Anyway yeah I guess I have liked unpopular characters mostly.

Passionate people have had concerns and nitpicked J4's lore, but by no description is he "hated" by any majority. The only argument of a problem is that Jarvan's character is, despite been updated already, has left an impression of unfulfilled potential.

He really needs an extensive story to elevate his character above the crowds as atm he just blends into the background. But this is a small problem among many champions too as Im personally concerned that Katarina, Malzahar, Taric (actually all the Aspects before Zoe), Karthus, Wukong etc have a strong potential that hasn't been sufficiently tapped into or reasonably explore yet. More lore for them will certainly fix that, but until then the worst case is these characters just feel a little dry.

You’re overexaggerating. 90% of people don’t care about J4. You have to care about something to hate it.

If you’re talking about you-know-who it’s simply one person.

I don't think anybody hates J4 lore with a passion. It's just meh.
