I feel like Riot misread peoples comments on the "Why is Kaisa Sexy" thing.

Riot stated that a lot of players were upset with them making her sexy. But I don't remember seeing that ANYWHERE, sure there were a few people, but they WERENT a majority.

What people WANTED of Kaisa was her to FEEL/SOUND ugly.

Sure some couldve been upset from her being pretty, but what i remember seeing is wanting to see her starved, ragged, insane. They were upset that she wasnt touched by the void hardly at all. Not her PHYSICAL appearance being too sexy.

In fact I hope the severe backlash on this ask riot tells you one thing. That no matter what, a fair amount of people will like what you make, they are just less vocal. Swain - visually a lot of people complained about, a month after his release SO many people talking about how they love new swains look same with Kaisa, probably same with Irelia.

In fact, you going back on your word when it comes specifically to looks, probably upsets more people than it upset in the first place.

Also when you rework Morgana, make her hot... please.

This is probably a very specific and potentially weird gripe on my end, but I think one thing that really irks me about Kai'Sa is that she doesn't look like Taliyah.

I know that's weird but consider:

  • Both are Shuriman
  • Both come from the same general area of Shurima; southern Shurima, around Icathia
  • Both are natives

Yet they look like they come from entirely different continents. Taliyah's got that sort of arabic ethnic look going for her, and Kai'Sa, despite coming from the same part of the world, looks absoluetly nothing like her. I'd expect some similarities y'know? Thicker eyebrows, wider nose, darker skin. But no, she's not like that at all. So what gives?

This is more or less dead on.

The general sentiment was 'It makes no sense that she isn't mutated.' Her having a voidling living on her doesn't help. In fact, that seems to make things even more puzzling. Getting splashed with a little bit of Void-juice is sufficient to corrupt someone if Kaisa's comic is to be believed.

The V-neck and nasty case of sameface (and make-up, and styled hair) just added fuel to the fire. It isn't the attractiveness, it's that the attractiveness runs counter to who she's supposed to be and how other characters react to her in-universe. If she couldn't take that helmet off ever then there might be a case here.
