Skin suggestions for the new Vladimir skin

Riot recently confirmed that a few champions would be getting skins during 2018, and more specifically Vladimir would as well.

This is great news as Vladimir's skins are typically seen as bad, and the Vladimir community is hoping that we can finally get a skin that we believe fits in modern League of Legends art (Honestly his models look like they're from Season 3).

Here are a few ideas that I've seen been going around in the Vlad Community and some streams. (Also Riot, you should totally visually update all of his skins whenever you release the new skin, we don't really care if the new skin is trash as long as you just visually update him)

The first one that I believe is the most popular choice, but also probably the most disliked is

Pool Party Vladimir I personally don't like this skin idea because I don't see how the water in most pool party skins could really take effect because he's a Hemomancer, and uses Blood, even though you could probably just bend it like how Dark Star is, and use water anyway for his animations, but I just don't think it would fit Vladimir all that well, even though I could see it being a skin.

Halloween Skin This is probably one that I believe could fit Vladimir the most out of all the skin ideas, simply because his concept is kind of like that to a Vladimir, but I think a lot of people would want a unique kind of skin, like how Death Sworn was, if anything I think this is what will happen more than likely, a Halloween skin.

My personal favorite that I thought of, and have had a lot of people liking the idea.

Conqueror Vladimir Now, besides the awesomeness that "Conqueror Vladimir" would be, especially with quotes like from Blood Lord saying "Kneel before Vlad" I think the color scheme of Conqueror would fit him extremely well, especially with the Blood red color of Conqueror's outfit, and the gold.

Another reason why I like Conqueror Vlad is that I think it fits his lore, in his lore after leaving Noxus because of the crimes he commited of murdering two boys, he met with a Monk who taught him how to use Hemomancy, then after his time there and mastering the craft, he returned to Noxus more powerful than ever in a "Conquering" kind of way, and showing off his new powers by killing palace guards, the Noxian High Command was really surprised by the power and elected him to avail themselves of his unsavory talents.

If that doesn't say "Conqueror" then I don't know what will.

The only problem I could see with this is his animations, I don't know how they could really change them color-wise because he already uses red.

I think pool party could be nice since Vlad doesn't really have a "goofy" skin yet. It's not my style, but I can see why it would be popular.

Personally, I want either a Dark Star or Debonair Vladimir.

Debonair is pretty simple: He wears a suit and tie. I'd really like the idea of walking into lane in style, and a back animation where he straightens out his tie and adjust his cuff links. His effects would probably be the same, it would just be his model and some animations. If it came with a few voice lines though that would be AMAZING. "Put my four o'clock on hold Amanda. I have enemies to ravage." I need to FEEL the sexual tension when he's in lane. [sg-lulu]

Dark star is gonna take some imagination, but basically Vladimir IS SPACE. Obviously his effects would turn black and purple, but the most exciting parts are his W and E. W becomes a swirling galaxy full of twinkling stars and planets, while his E becomes a black hole, sucking debrid in before exploding. It would be so prettyyyyyy. [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

Risen Vladimir, replace his blood with locusts/scarabs. Change his pool into him sinking into a pool of scarabs. E can be a nova of scarabs and ult can have locusts burst out of each enemy champion after 4 seconds.

Dear Riot, I'm a big vampire fan. Like old-fashioned, fanged vampires. Not the Twilight and Vampire Diaries type. Anyway, how Bram Stoker's famous Dracula came to be so popular and frightening at the time was because it's a Gothic horror. Gothic horror at the time drew on the fears people were scared at the time in the Victorian Era such as evolution and the Women's Suffrage/Rights.

Evolution- Dracula was able to shapeshift

Women's rights- the Bride's of Dracula were sexual, something abhorred in the Victorian era. Lucy in the story was a very sensual woman and was punished for it in the end by being turned. Mina, the example of a subservient wife was saved by the actions of good men in the end.

I know this is a lot of information, but using this in mind.

Maybe do something about Vlad using his enemies fear, something that belongs to an enemy like their blood and soul against them.

Have a skin where Vlad feeds or absorbs on the fear of his enemy, instead of their soul or blood, and then uses their fear in the form of an essence or shape some sort back at them.

And maybe for certain enemies, for those in Noxus, they have special fears that are animated when you interact with Vlad in this skin. Maybe for Darius, his fear is being taunted by his former lover dying. Swain losing his harm and losing all power. Katarina losing Garen.

It's a thought or maybe playing with fear as a concept is something that can be played with when thinking about the Conquerer Skin.

Isn't conqueror an esports/msi skin? Wouldn't be against it, but it wouldn't have lore to it right?

I feel Vlad misses an April Fool's skin, but also a mechanized skin

Honey keeper Vlad:

Vlad with a Bee-like costume, keeping a small hive in his hand, using both honey and angry bees to attack everyone naive enough to think it could take the honey that Vlad protects

Program Vladimir

This program can use liquid metal and can also reform itself out of it due to nanomachines that he can control with ease, using them to protect himself or hurt the enemy, depending on what he needs

I know Conquerer Vlad is what would suit best, considering his lore and color palette and all, but his skins are heavily too related to Bram Stoker's Dracula with Blood Lord, Nosferatu, and having a Conquerer Vlad skin would be too cliche.If there was a Conquerer Vlad Skin I would think back to Dracula or Vlad the Impaler, both of which were Conquerers fighting to expand their territory. Also, I can see a reference to Anne Rice's character Lestat de Lioncourt in Marquis Vlad. There are just way too many vampire related skins to other vampire related popular media. PLEASE make something else.

  Also, a lot of reasons why people may find the Vlad skins "bad" is because of how cliche they can be with relating to some sort of vampire material and because of the colors in some of them. Not only that, but I think people want more variety when he dishes out his abilities. For instance, Soul Stealer Vlad blood is green. That's cool I like that, the color scheme is different, it relates to draining the life of someone, and the colors are great. 

 There are so many champs that have special cool effects to champs, but some champs have very few. Ahri and Lux are an example, have so many skins where they get the cool ability aesthetics, but some champs don't even have one special skin. I'm a Leona main, and so far the only special visual aesthetics I see are in Project: Leona and Iron Solari (but only when she ults), but when she dishes out her attacks for abilities in her other skins, they are shown from that of her default skin. 

 I like the idea of a Pool Party skin because of the visual potential it might hold in a game and it's something different. However, as you said you wanted something to fit his lore. 

This is a stretch and can relate to Vlad, but maybe a Demon Vlad skin or something of the sort with bat wings? Again, maybe a bit cliche, but hear me out. Maybe have him have wings, or when he has his passive, it's a bat, or when he turns into blood, he turns into a sea of black bats, etc. This is a cliche idea, but just throwing it out there, but there is a visual aesthetic that can be played with. 

 Or... if you want to play on the funny side... WINE VLAD. Have him turn into a pool of purple wine and carry a glass in lane. And when he expels "blood" it can be globs wine or grapes. 

 In short,  take my suggestions or others as well as our advice. But I think what people, such as myself,  want from future champ skins is new visual aesthetics in game for a champ like Vlad that barely has any, compared to other midlane champs such as Ahri and Lux, who have wayyyyyyyy too many.  Moreover, give us as something that isn't related to some vampire lore or story, whether it be from Dracula, Vlad the Impaler, or some other vampire inspiration. Conquerer Vlad just sounds way too easy to make and it will probably link back to the others or my fear is that it may look like the new Swain rework.

I definitely want a dark star Vladimir but what you said about ''updating his skins'' would be great especially with Blood lord giving it's Recalling animation.

I was hoping we'd get something cool and not goofy... Maybe like Iron Thirst Vladimir (kind of like magneto) Sucks the iron from your blood (Q) and tides of blood would shoot iron shrapnel outwards (E). I don't know what (W) or (R) would represent though other than just silver pools.
