Could "The Climb" had a clue for the next Bilgewater champion?

I mean, tentacles are a octopus hands. And they surely hold tight with them. Also, that spectral tentacle trying to drag to the oceanic floor is the only thing in the trailer that we couldn't fit in the lore we had saw until now. The most similar things were and Nagakabouros, but after "Shadow and Fortune" we have no reason to think of them as enemies. Could also be a spirit from the shadow islands, but the Black Mist was never saw unleashing undead creatures under water. And that creature seemed to depict a very different design to and the undead fighting at the end.
