Theory: Soraka's staff is a Darkin.

Its so obvious when you think about it. The horn growing out of her head is corruption of her body. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lFveLxWPvp4/UyquhU9GB9I/AAAAAAAAKfg/jLYST7Yy-Kw/s1600/Soraka-League-of-Legends-Wallpaper-full-HD-15.jpg Similar to Kayn's eye https://lolstatic-a.akamaihd.net/frontpage/apps/prod/rg-kayn-reveal/en_US/94dcc05587bfb7cf3b581917f3dd6662df5eb212/assets/img/base-wallpaper.jpg

She heals for dealing damage(Q) just like Aatrox and Rhast. She can only heal by draining her hp, so the staff must be draining her lifeforce and that of the enemies with Q. This explains why her human looking skins don't have the horn. Particulary this one. http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Soraka_2.jpg

I have a PhD in symbology and the dark occult arts and I concur you are indeed onto something here

Unicorns have long been a symbol of indomitable virginity and it is said that if you look into a mirror you may be able to see traces of one

Well. Her old lore had an explanation but it's noncanon now that WW has a completely different origin.

Keep in mind that Soraka isn't human, but a Celestial.

But hey, that's just a theory.

A LEAGUE THEORY.

lol where did you come up with that theory?

the Darkin are living weapons (Aatrox's blade, Kayn's scythe)

Divine Soraka is actually her pre-celestial form, she lost that form in her lore because she ignored warnings not to use her magic for harm.

And Vayne's glasses and Volidbear's armor and Gangplank's modified arm

Nah, you gotta say that Sivir's crossblade and Morgana's chains are the next 2 Darkin, the boards will get pissed. They get super pissed because the thought in the back of their mind keeps saying, "maybe they are."

I could buy into this theory.

I could also accept that it's an anti-Darkin weapon that uplifts/deifies ordinary mortals as a counter-balance to the Darkin and their blood magic. Kayle's sword could be the same thing. Raka was formerly a holy woman who was granted divinity, sort of like Shuriman ascension or Targonian possession.

On a side note, I do want to see a evil Soraka skin. Her does one doesn't really hit the mark.

Edit: "her death eon does not hit the mark"
