Can't help but feel that if Shen had stood by Zed side thing would of been different.

Both of them disagree with Kusho lenience on Jhin and both wanted to fight the Noxian Invader but Shen chose to follow Kusho.

Zed later believed that he cannot protect the first land alone so he return for the box but if he had Shen the whole time he probably wouldn't felt alone in his fight because he would of had his brother Shen.

I didn't like how they changed Zed's lore. Before it was unconfirmed who attacked first: Zed or Master Kusho, now Zed just came back to take the box and kill Kusho deliberately. Zed never felt necessarily evil to me before but this change make his seem more so.

The problem with being impassionate about everything is it essentially makes you less than human. Jhin is more human than Shen . You cant connect to others if your like this, this is why Shen lost touch with both Zed and his student Akali . What separates him from being a robot essentially when he NEVER allows emotion of his personal whims/wishes/views influence his judgement? Hes no different than a "programmed" being.

So when people go and do what people do, out of emotions, because that is what makes them human, you cant expect him to be able to change anything, or even live in that world for long before catastrophe strikes. He might be indifferent but other wont be. If he doesnt accept this, he is liable to end up doing the same mistakes as his father.

This is just a rant about Zed's new lore, but I would like Zed's story to focus more on his relationship with others. This is just my humble opinion, but I want the reason why Zed acquired the power of shadows to not only be to resists Noxus invasion, but also to be recognized and acknowledged by Kusho. I believe Zed found family both in Shen and Kusho, which is why I think he wanted to be appreciated by his "father" more than Shen who is Kusho's biological child. So when Zed's way of justice and his powers were condemned, he thought his bonds and familial love were denied, thus his relationship with Kusho became irreparable. (And I think it would be a nice touch if Kusho denied Zed´s way of doing not only because of balance but also because of he truly cared for Zed like a son.)
